While immersing yourself in the tranquil environment of Sarah Duet’s SHOREWARD painting exhibit and the sensory comforts of Clean Slate Botanicals storefront, you’ll have a chance to hear from Sarah about the art and the value of rituals in fostering creativity. You’ll be invited to consider the ways in which YOU would like to be more creative –– whether that is through writing, cooking, music, parenting, drawing, painting, hospitality, photography, dance, business, or something else!

Creativity can seem fleeting, but it actually thrives in rhythm and routine. And one of the best ways to ground oneself in a creative ritual is to use a sensory trigger –– like always sitting in the same chair or beginning with a cup of tea or lighting the same candle…

And that’s where the Clean Slate team comes in! Supported by Ben’s expertise, you’ll choose from SHOREWARD-themed scents (exclusively available on May 10) and dozens of others to create your own unique, inspiring blend. Finally, you’ll mix it with wax and pour it into a vessel of your choosing to create the cornerstone of your new creative ritual.

Wine (sponsored by Single Source Business Solutions) and tea will be provided. Feel free to BYOB as well.

We have some amazing exclusive offers for you and fun amenities this evening in addition to the candle pouring experience, we include complimentary wine.

Clean Slate Botanicals’ Candle Pouring Experience provides a place where friends and family can gather, connect, and create. Make lasting memories and a candle that is unique to you.

How It Works: Walk through our doors, grab a seat at your station and let our staff guide you through the candle making process. You will start at The Scent Bar, where you can smell all of our amazing scents. Smell as many as you like, and jot down the ones you love on your fragrance sheet; a Clean Slate Botanicals staff member can help guide you in selecting up to three of your favorite scents to blend together. Afterwards, hand your clipboard over to a team member and swing by the Clean Slate Botanicals storefront to choose the perfect vessel. A team member will then assist you in pouring your custom fragrance mixture with the melted candle-wax. When you are done mixing the two, pour the candle mixture into your vessel, write the name of your candle on the label, and leave the rest to us! Your candle will be done curing and ready for pick up in 5 days.
